Eunique Jones Gibson Just Launched Happy Hues, a Baby & Toddler Care C – BOTWC
Today is the day! Our founder, Eunique Jones Gibson, just launched products for babies and toddlers that puts representation at the forefront.
During the toddler stage, we know most parents get a dose of the potty training trials and tribulations, such as the need for more patience, the constant asking “Do you need to potty?” and, more importantly, training pants. Three years ago, Jones Gibson was potty training her little girl and came to a realization that there was not much representation in the diaper/training pants industry, birthing the idea for The Happy Hues Co.
The first product to release from the new line are the Big-Ups, the shea butter-infused training pants that are designed to keep your toddler comfortable, motivated, and on the move. Happy Hues are not only designed to protect your child but to also bring positive reinforcement into your child’s potty training phase. There are currently two designs available for purchase, the “Super Me” design that has young superheroes printed on them and “I Am,” which has affirmations printed all over. On each package, you can find a QR code that will lead you to a special animated series featuring the four members of the Happy Hues crew!
“Happy Hues and our line of Big-ups hopes to give every child another opportunity to see themselves, on a canvas they all engage, alongside their peers during a time when the foundation for their confidence, self-esteem and even their biases are being built,” Jones Gibson explained.
This Black-owned brand is also backed by affluent Black investors, including Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole, CEO and Co-Founder of Capital City Mambo Sauce Arsha Jones, Multimedia Executive and Producer Mimi Valdés, Chief People Person of Tory Burch Keisha Smith and many more. For each package sold, 5% of net sales will be donated to Happy Hue’s nonprofit partner, Ferst Readers, which aims to grow little ones’ literacy and love of reading.
