? I’m looking for business owners and marketers in Missoula who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our readers to local businesses they need to know. If that’s you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.

Here are the top three stories in Missoula today:

  1. Missoula County is granting $50,000 in total to four recreational facilities for improvements to better the county’s communities. Schmautz Park, East Missoula Lions Park, Clinton Community Park, and Lolo School District are the four recipients that will be receiving different amounts in order to better the facilities in what ways they see fit. From fences to school playgrounds to bigger dreams like a skate park, planned projects are gaining a lot of support and partnerships within the community. (Missoulian)
  2. This week is Poison Prevention Week, and Missoula Public Health is partnering with Safe Kids Missoula for better education and safe practices. Missoula Public Health gave a few tips to keep in mind at all times, such as keeping medicines and drugs out of children’s sight and reach at all times. The organization also encourages the public to be prepared to react in case of an emergency, as poison and drug overdose rates have increased significantly, especially in the Hispanic and African-American children demographics. More tips and notes will be provided throughout the week by the organization. (NBC Montana)
  3. The Missoula Community Theatre had to cancel the final performances of “The Bridge of Madison County” over the holiday weekend due to illness. Two of the performances were rescheduled for Sunday, Apr. 2 at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Ticket holders for the canceled shows are able to move the tickets to Sunday as long as they contact MCT by Friday, Mar. 24 at 5:00 p.m. Ticket holders may also now request refunds or exchanges for their tickets if they desire, and seats will be resold after Friday’s 5:00 p.m. deadline.
